Choose the experience before adding extras
Start by deciding how you want the gift to feel: playful, warm, romantic or quietly thoughtful. Try the opening, then write the message that follows it. Different experiences offer different supported settings. Use the customization controls belonging to your chosen gift. Photos, music, backgrounds and text treatments can add character, but they should support the personal message rather than compete with it.
Make it easy for the recipient
Preview the complete opening before publication. Check the message on a phone as well as a larger screen when possible, and keep the first personal paragraph clear and welcoming. If you add music, remember that browsers may require the recipient to press play. A gift should still make sense without sound.
Use the preview to check any gestures and transitions offered by the selected experience. The final publication step saves the gift and confirms its link. Do not use a draft or editor address as the recipient link.
